The webinar will focus on elements for enhancing psychoeducational groups to have a balance of cognitive and affective components. Attention is given to relationship building with and among members and how to use process and process commentary.

Learning Objectives
The participant will be able to:
  1. Describe how to plan and prepare to facilitate psychoeducational groups.
  2. Identify basic components for developing a therapeutic alliance.
  3. Describe the primary elements and ethical use for activities in the group.
  4. List the description for group process, the effects on the group, and the basic elements of group process commentary.
