BIOGRAPHICAL PROFILE

I'm Marc Azoulay and I'm the current President of the Colorado Group Psychotherapy Society. I've been running groups for 4 years and I'm a Certified Group Psychotherapist, recognized by AGPA. I currently run a process group and a supervision group in Boulder. I use a mix of Contemplative Psychotherapy and Modern Psychoanalysis to help my clients uncover and destroy the unconscious barriers that cripple them. With my clients I travel through the great expanse of the mind and help them regain their lost power - pretty good hook huh? My group leadership style can best be described as irreverent humor with surprising moments of profound depth.

CURRENT GROUPS:

Process Group Group Psychotherapy is a way for us to learn about how we interact with others and form bonds. Group can be a place of feedback, support and growth. This group is open to all of my current clients and can be a great addition to individual therapy. The only instruction in this psychotherapy group is to "put your thoughts and feelings into words." Group Supervision Dr. Tamra Sattler and I are offering individual supervision and co-leading a biweekly group. Between the two of us we can provide supervision for anyone in the State of Colorado who is pursuing their LPC, LAC, or LMFT license. I specialize in working with Psychoanalysis, EMDR, and Contemplative Psychotherapy; I am also the President of the Colorado Group Psychotherapy Society and I bring my knowledge of group process to supervision. Tamra has a deep knowledge of Transpersonal Psychology, Hakomi, and CBT after completing her PhD at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
