Yoon Im Kane is a Yale-trained psychotherapist and the founder & CEO of Mindful Psychotherapy Services, a private outpatient therapy center with offices based in Manhattan. Yoon is passionate about group therapy and has extensive training in modern analytic group psychotherapy through the Center for Group Studies, is a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) and internal family therapy certified practitioner. She leads a thriving group therapy practice and provides consultations and training to therapists nationally.
Before becoming a founder and CEO of Mindful NYC, Yoon was the co-founder at Park Avenue Weight & Wellness Center and CEO at everbliss, Inc.Yoon’s keen interest and training as a trauma therapist as well as her specialization in children's mental health/social policy provided opportunities for her to testify as a trauma expert in state and federal court on behalf of victims of child sex trafficking and abuse.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Yoon loves to run, cycle and travel. She continues to practice full-time at her Manhattan office and is a frequent presenter at professional conferences on the topic of group psychotherapy and women leadership.
